Victory Week: Morning 5

Faith starts in the heart, not the eyes. God took Abraham outside and showed him the stars so he’d have a picture to hold on to — and this message says do the same: if you’ve been ill, picture yourself well; if you’ve been told you’ll never have a child, picture yourself holding one. What no eye has seen, God has prepared for those who love Him, and He reveals it by His Spirit. Two practical things follow. Don’t be moved by people who can’t see what you’re believing for — they don’t know what faith can do. And give God time. Abraham’s promise didn’t arrive the next morning, and most people give up long before the thing they were promised shows up.
