Victory Week: Morning 8

Two threads. The first is why God wants you to have victory at all — Romans 8 says overwhelming victory is ours “through Christ who loved us,” so it flows out of God’s love rather than anything we’ve earned. The second is about blessing and stewardship: Job’s story doesn’t end where people usually stop quoting it, and Proverbs 3 ties honouring God with your wealth to barns that overflow. The practical challenge is to look honestly at where your money actually goes, and to hold what you have as God’s to steward rather than yours to spend.
