Victory Week: Night 2
On being lukewarm, and how quietly it happens. The warning in Revelation 3 wasn’t aimed at unbelievers — Jesus was speaking to a church, to people who knew Him and knew the Bible and had drifted into thinking they were fine. That’s what makes indifference dangerous: nobody decides to become passive about God. It arrives through small things allowed in, little attitudes and opinions and the wrong voices, the little foxes that spoil the vines. But the same passage carries the remedy, and it isn’t shame. Jesus stands at the door and knocks. He named the problem because He wants that church victorious, and He’s waiting to be let back in rather than waiting to be impressed.
