Victory Week: Night 6

Two habits that quietly keep people stuck. The first is blaming God for what the enemy does — and the flip side, blaming the enemy for the consequences of our own choices. The second is talking yourself out of God’s plans before they start: “must be nice,” “I don’t know how that would ever happen for me.” The answer to “I don’t know” is to go and find out. There’s an honest, uncomfortable observation in here too: sickness and lack can become comfortable, because they’re familiar and other people carry you. Faith refuses that. It sees what isn’t yet as though it already were, and it moves — “I’m not looking for a handout; I’ll be the solution for someone else.”
