Victory Week: Night 8

The closing night of a week of meetings, and the question is how to keep what you received once they end. The answer: victory is meant to be a way of living, not a spiritual high followed by a hard Monday. Galatians says stand firm and don’t go back under the yoke; Deuteronomy says you’ll go upward and not downward. There’s straight teaching on the enemy — know what he’s after, don’t be afraid of him, resist and he flees — and on authority: if God asked you to do something, He has already given you the power to do it, and doubting that is really doubting Him. It closes on the twelve spies: don’t mistake a challenge for a defeat.
